Troy Design and Manufacturing

A metro-Detroit business, Troy Design & Manufacturing Company was founded in the early 1980's. The company began as a stamping engineering and sheet metal prototype supplier to the Big Three. In time, TDM built a reputation as an expert in these fields, especially when the parts were stamped from exotic materials.

The stamping engineering and prototype operations were purchased by the Ford Motor Company in early 1999 and converted into a wholly owned subsidiary. Over the next ten years TDM and Ford fostered an exceptional relationship developing people, methods, processes, technologies and relationships in all phases of vehicle development.

The TDM challenge now is to extend our product and service offerings to a broader market. We genuinely believe that our diversity of experience and breadth of synergies will benefit any organization that "lives and breaths" the manufacturing world.
