Rebecca Finazzo - Employee testimonials

Q:  What is your job title?

A:  Sr. HR Generalist.

Q:  What have been your greatest challenges with your part in the SRP TRANSFORMATION?

A:  I would say my greatest challenge has been finding the new locations of employees that have been moving in.

Q:  What are your thoughts on working in a whole new building and environment?

A:  I enjoy working in the new building and having everyone in Michigan under the same roof. It will definitely give HR more interaction with all employees and make it easier for employees to stop by with questions.

Q:  What do you feel are the rewards of all your hard work?

A:  Being part of the decorating committee and seeing our ideas applied throughout the building. I like the bright new colors!

Q:  What are your feelings on working with an integrated staff?

A:  I am excited that rather being a phone call away I can help employees with face to face interaction.

Q:  What advice would you like to give to the other employees who still have yet to be transferred to SRP?

A:  Yes, a big THANK YOU to all. Whether it be the employees who started painting and cleaning the building, the staffs of both IT and Maintenance/Facilities making things happen, this building contains a lot of sweat equity given by a huge number of employees. THANK YOU.

Q:  Is there anything else you’d like to add?

A:  It has been exciting to see how the building is changing and looking better each day.

Q:  What is your job title?

A:  Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities.

Q:  What have been your greatest challenges with your part in the SRP TRANSFORMATION??

A:  There are several challenges dealing with a 50 year old building that was slated for demolition. Uncovering items that were not realized during the initial investigation that required additional work and funding to correct, is the top of the list.

Q:  What are your thoughts on working in a whole new building and environment?

A:  This is exciting, bringing everyone under one roof will greatly improve communication, reduce costs, and timing.

Q:  What do you feel are the rewards of all your hard work?

A:  Walk through this building now, as compared to a year ago, it’s vibrant, alive with activity, we still have a long way to go, but seeing this building come back to life, that is cool.

Q:  What advice would you like to give to the other employees who are about to be transferred to SRP?

A:  Patience, bring it with you. We are attempting to address the needs of all to make this a World Class Operation, but it takes time.

Q:  Is there anything else you’d like to add?

A:  Yes, a big THANK YOU to all. Whether it be the employees who started painting and cleaning the building, the staffs of both IT and Maintenance/Facilities making things happen, this building contains a lot of sweat equity given by a huge number of employees. THANK YOU.

A:  Coordination and planning across, several activities both within the company our contractors and vendors.

A:  This has been a great opportunity, to have the ability to work outside of what each of us may normally do on a day to day basis and learn new technologies.

A:  It has been great; we have many talented people in our organization. This transformation has opened my eyes and given me perspective on the many challenges each other’s group faces.

STEVE GARTON   System Administration/Network Support
Steve Garton - Employee testimonials

Q:  What are your thoughts on working in a whole new building and environment?

A:  Exciting! I now have a greater understanding of the infrastructure of the building from an IT and facility's perspective. The size of the new building is much larger than the three buildings that we are coming from. It shows that TDM is on an upward trajectory.

Q:  What are your feelings on working with an integrated staff?

A:  Very positive. I was able to gain knowledge working with TDM business supervisors on knowing how the plant floor operates, and what the departments actually do in the big scheme of things. It is great to work with facilities, contractors, and trades.

Q:  What have been your greatest challenges with your part in the SRP Transformation?

A:  Coping with unexpected, but necessary deviations from the Master Layout.

Q:  What do you feel are the rewards of all your hard work?

A:  Planning become reality! I will be able to provide better support, because I have a better understanding of how the building infrastructure is configured.

Q:  What advice would you like to give to the other employees who are about to be transferred to the Sheldon Road Plant?

A:  Have patience and bring your walking shoes. Feel the MOJO!
